04.05.2023OK, just some thoughts here.
1)In the Prologe Lin talks about being dragged down by angels.
The spirit that stayed said it stayed because of anger.
Could it have been the one to try drowning Lin because she got to grow up and forgot them?
2)If it was actually the "mom" who tried to drown Lin, why did she stop?
I mean, Lin is a grown woman (by the "moms" own admission), so why did Lin get to grow up?
3)Why did Lin forget her siblings?
Troughout the story she talks about how forgetfull she is, yes. But it's only small things, like books etc. not her entire childhood.
Even when being medicated to the point of loosing long-term memorys the erasure can't be that smooth or specific as to target only moments spent with her siblings.
And by the way she talks about it, it's a more recent development.

04.05.2023The words "angel maker" have two meanings. One of them refers to a person who adopts unwanted children for money and then mistreats them. Most death in this case were do to neglect, malnutrition or starvation.
An example of this was Hilda Nilsson in 1917. Unlike other angelmakers she murdered the children right away by drowning them in the bathtub. And this happened in Sweden.
I think it's safe to say this is what the game is inspired by.

02.05.2023Swedish guy here. "Mor" is a formal and polite way of saying "Mother". The common form is "Mamma". Much like "Mother / Mom". And the pills on the shelf in the mothers room are painkillers.
