If you're looking for a newer scary game try Amensia Bunker. You have to force yourself out of a safe place to explore and pray the generator has enough fuel to get where you need to before the lights go out and it finds you.
Oh my gosh im so surprised that this game was mentioned!! I played it a while ago and its definitely uncomfortable, i love the tapes where you can actually walk around in and its not just an audio tape or a video tape, some characters scary as heck
